telegram sam!

We just got the most adorable invite in the mail! It clearly came via Western Union Telegram service. Tea stained envelope and a perfectly worn telegram inside informing us to save a very important date!
I couldn't be happier for the pair, they are my extended family! I look forward to sharing your special day and I love you both! Muah!

a spy for a spy

I had a visit from one rare bird! She hid behind her secret agent goody camera and took some lovely shots of my garden, parker and of me being a silly goose.
Look at all of the photography talent over at her blog...

busy thursday evening!

One of favorite people on this planet, one Courtney Cerruti, is having an opening this thursday! Animal Anomalies will be at Paxton Gate for kids starting March 3rd!
Courtney Cerruti is a paper and book artist who studied painting at UC Santa Cruz and University of Bordeaux, France and has taught workshops throughout the Bay Area and abroad. Using everyday materials like paper and cardboard, she creates unique and precious objects that tell a story. Her work has taken a departure from the miniature with her most recent body of work, Animal Anomalies, a collection of life-sized misfit paper animals. Using recycled and found papers and books, Courtney creates one of kind animal sculptures that speak to a tradition of animal taxidermy but are made with paper.

Then around the corner and down the street to watch Jim Nastic play in Needles...

Pretty Cakes & Co.

Once upon a brief sliver in time two women gave birth to a photographic collaboration. This organic union was lovingly titled Pretty Cakes. This series includes a most talented bombshell Miss Sacha Borisich. I will write about her many gifts in another post, for now let's enjoy her beauty!

cherry on top

I first met Nicole well over a decade ago. She is one the most gifted of anyone I know. Exuding a fierce intelligence and sexual femine force to be reckoned with. I highly recommend  browsing her site. If one looks very closely Nicole can be spotted as a conjoined twin in that little Manson film she directed. A must watch is Una Favola.

Una Favola film still

Abe Lincoln herself.

mister matthew eugene bone

Today I would like you to meet one of my soulmates for the better part of the past decade. He is the proud new writer of "there is no brush" over at nerdist.com and one hell of a painter. From nuclear fallout hair that scares even Gary Oldman to wiping a third parties vomit on my face as a sign of true friendship, I love you Matthew.

"extinction level event" detail

"flora and fauna" featuring a certain amazing filmaker...more to come on that...

"crown of thorns" detail

"piece of the true cross"

"show no mercy" may or may not be me

Please visit Matthew over at myspace, facebook, and for some unknown reason he prefers here .
